We have a proud history of mentoring and developing character, sportsmanship and teamwork in young athletes through the wonderful game of rugby. We have a devoted staff of high quality, USA Rugby certified coaches, athletic trainers, and a committed parent support organization. We partner with Atavus Rugby to offer professional coaching support and athletic training and we've recently launched the first ever Eastside Lions Coach Manual, developed in conjunction with Atavus. The purpose of the manual is to coordinate coaching and player development across all ages/grades so that our young players leave the program in the best position for future success both on and off the pitch. Lions Rugby is rooted in a strong technical foundation and the development of player understanding and Rugby IQ is paramount. The drills and exercises in the manual will also be complemented by on-field coaching assistance from Atavus coaches.
